Hey yall! I'm Nichole aka "Miss Nikki Lynn." I'm from Minnesota and was doing free lance modeling for 3 years before being diagnosed with brain cancer in the summer of 2009. I recently finished chemotherapy in August 2010.
I finally had my first shoot since my surgery in January 2010 and although I know I've gained some weight with the effects of my condition I feel confident I can still continue modeling. More than that I have feel inspired to apply my background and experience to help those suffering through physically/spiritually altering conditions. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder and confidence is built when we remember that we as individuals are beautiful too. I'm working on trademarking the idea and will be seeking help from models and photographers once the project is off the ground. Certainly if anyone wants to know more, let me know.
In the meantime I'm primarily looking to do paid shoots as my illness has prevented me from being able to sustain the dayjob I did prior to my diagnosis and I still need to support myself for the basic necessities like rent and medications, which are devastatingly expensive.
I'm also interested in doing creative works or helping to develop portfolios as well. I will be featured at the brain tumor conference in Dallas this coming October and intend to present a book as a prototype for part of my idea behind "Cancer Cuties" and networking with others would be of a mutual benefit I believe.
