I love my "day job" as a broadcast news photographer for KCBS2/KCAL9 in Los Angeles. I don't think I'll ever leave it to do anything else. That being said, I have a love also for the art of photography. I'm very lucky that I can take still pictures nearly every day of the things I see and do in news.

I've been doing this long enough for a lot of people to begin to wonder why I'm just taking pictures for fun.

Yes, I'm quite happy with the life I have, but having shown a small bit of talent for snapping a nice picture now and then, I'd just like to see where this road might take me.

In making use of this site, I hope to be challenged to do my best work. I also hope to network with professionals and "good enough to be professionals" with the ultimate goal of developing a core group of ambitious and talented creative artists.
