Our Community Manager, Lyndzi Trang had the opportunity to sit down with Alex LaMarsh to ask her a few questions:
Favorite celebrity/project you have worked on thus far?
One of my all time favorite projects I've worked on isn't something famous or glamorous. Is was for the Call of Juarez 2 video game. We shot on the set of Deadwood the TV show. It was a post gun fight scene in a bar. It was such a blast and a total thrill to run around on the set of a western.
Favorite makeup product you can't live without?
I can't pick one! I can't live without: Cover FX foundations, Revlon Color Stay Foundation, MAC "Oak" lip liner, Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess collection for liquid shadows/lipgoss/bronzers.
Care to share one of your "secret" makeup tips?
Lip lines are one of the most important things to have perfect. It's the sign of a real makeup artist. Ya gotta have crisp perfect lip lines! You don't need to match your lip liner to the shade of lipstick, it just makes a good base which keeps the lipstick between the lines and in place. Stick with a natural lip color or neutral lip liner. Then use a nice firm lip brush to apply the lipstick, keeping the lines crisp. This also works to keep gloss in place longer with less bleeding of the color. Lip liner then gloss and bam! Perfect lips!
In an alternate dimension, your profession would be?
Hands down... I'd be a Geologist. I love earth sciences. When it comes down to it I am just a big geek!
