Like in nature, our lives are full of passion, excitement, and splendor. I capture that moment and enhance it. Nature, sun, and simplicity are the most influential elements in my work because I want to show the purity and oddity of what I see. If we’re living at the edge of the world, this is the place I want to frolic. Why not? Naturalness is the lifeblood of what I do but how I express the idea is regulated by the way I make it reality. I am a photographer specializing in fine art, glamor photography, and fashion. A photographer who treasures feminine beauty and expresses it in images with refined sensuality and elegance.
Probably at first sight, my work could appear to be inspired by different trends or tendencies but this isn't a treacherous thing, only an apparent dualism. I like Lady Gaga's philosophy and description best, "When I look back on my life, it’s not that I don’t want to see things exactly as they happened, it’s just that I prefer to remember them in an artistic way. And truthfully, the lie of it all is much more honest because I invented it."
Photographs are each frozen moments, and when you look at them they become stories. Full of emotion and full of life like the essence captured in a mystical bottle. They are quiet, tattered, forgotten, emotional, beautiful. I'd be crazy not to be a part of that...then again, aren't all artist if not just a little?
My style is best described as “emotional,” “atmospheric,” and “nostalgic,” brought to fruition with a very specific and continued emphasis on beautiful details unnoticed by most, forgotten buildings, and moments lost.
I currently reside in Washington state near the ocean and am looking forward to moving back to the big city. I have plans to move to Long Beach, CA, within the year and am so excited!!
I have been in the photography industry for few years, mostly landscapes or fine art. I've recently started using my artistic vision to do what I love, art imitating the life we dream of. I've developed my own style recently and am working hard to forge a new path into fashion and portrait photography, mixing the majesty of Mother Nature and every day uniqueness most of us miss from urban edge to fragile vintage. My photography would best be described as a remix in musical terms.
I'm a photographer because I want to preserve beauty. I believe in the enchantment of romance. I photograph glamor and fashion because I believe every day a women should feel just as beautiful and powerful as any goddess. I'm in the business of inspiration, storytelling, and artistry.
Currently, I am working on a few concepts which illustrates her interpretive mix of today's fashion and past styles. The female is, for me, nature's finest form. Women are timeless and fashion is her accessory. For me, they go hand in hand. I am so moved by the aesthetic form of the female body that I try to translate what I feel into images. Each time I depress the shutter, I freeze a woman's beauty in time and create an eternal symbol.
