Welcome to the world of my creation...

I'm a photographer and sculptor born and raised in the Central San Joaquin Valley. I love working with film. Black and whites developed in the dark room... it just has a greater sense of accomplishment when you do it that way. But because the digital reproductions of my film work aren't nearly as nice as the prints themselves, I won't be posting much of it here. Here on Model URL, you're mostly going to see my digital work.

I'm currently using a Minolta Maxxum 3xi (film) and the Canon 50D (digital).

I'm here to find local models for photography. But I'm also here to find models for life casting. For those who don't know what that is, here's the brief description: it's the sculptural equivalent of photography. Photography is to painting as life casting is to sculpture. In its essence, it's a way of creating a three dimensional representation of someone else, sensitive enough to capture scars and even finger prints.

And I just thought I'd throw this out there: I love the creative, off the wall, shoots. Things you don't see very often, or have never seen. No idea is too dumb, outragous, crazy, or just stupid. So feel free to come to me and say, "I got this great idea for a shoot, this may sound dumb, but..." I will commend you for it.

And lastly, I just wanted to say that my photographic training comes from my background in art. As an artist, I do photography because I enjoy it. I'll never be one of those perfectionist, overbearing photographers that just treat models like crap. Doing such will only stress out the photographer, stress out the model, and it's all around just dumb. I do photography cause I enjoy it. If it ever starts to feel like "work", I wouldn't do it anymore. So with that said, I promise all you models out there that I'll never try to pressure you into doing something you're not comfortable with and I'm always open to suggestion. I'm one of the most chill photographers you'll ever work with and I believe in a more laid back style of shooting. Does that sound unprofessional? Maybe. But I don't have dreams of being this big fashion photographer some day. My dreams are simply to create art, capture beautiful images, and to work with like minded people who want to accomplish the samething.

Special Skills - Photography

Outside of Photography, I'm also an experianced backpacker and rock climber. This allows me to not only get to some really neat locations to shoot, but with my backpacking experiance and with all I've learned about wilderness survival, I'm able to take models to some otherwise "hard to get to" places. If you're a "rough and tumble" kind of model, I can get you to some amazing locations.
