Please be very careful. This guy just tried it on me and i caught him. i am sending all this info to the FBI since its a felony to try and cash a check that is fraud. The reason i know its fraud is because he is calling from an out of state number, The mail was sent to me from Irvine CA, and the check was written from Salt lake city UT bank. Then also when i got the check and asked for all the client info and such he first got pissy that i was asking for it and would cash the check till i got it. then when he sent the sudio info that i needed to send a check to the Sudio person is in Johnson City TN.
This is what he emailed me:

My name is Kelly Knight, A photographer and I've a client who wants to update her Catalog with her new Fashion outfits release & I'm interested in you for the shooting.your pay for the job will be $1,500. Get back to me with an acknowledgment of my mail.

BE VERY CAREFUL. IF SOMEONE IS SENDING YOU A CHECK THEY NEED TO SEND A CASHIERS CHECK OR MONEY ORDER. ITS A LOT HARDER FOR THEM TO SCAM YOU WITH ONE OF THEM.
