In my earlier physical world career I owned quite a bit of camera, lens, and lighting equipment. In virtual world or VR photography, the camera and lighting depend on the parameters of the world. On Open Sim Grids like Second Life, Third Rock, Reaction Grid and others, I have lenses ranging from fisheye to 2000mm and equally powerful lighting controls. In gaming environments like WoW, the "equipment" is typically much more narrow. In developing worlds like Blue Mars, the equipment is currently limited but is likely to expand into more robust tools. In development environments like Poser, the photo gear is quite extensive, especially when combined with Photoshop compositing.
